Purpose: 

This area was dominated by iceplant and restored in 2000 by students from the Goleta Family School under the supervision of the Reserve Director.  Students removed the iceplant by hand and hauled it off-site.  They collected seeds of native plants on the Reserve and cultivated them in the Reserve’s greenhouse.
